Le 7 mars 2020, disparaissait Jean-Michel Matz, professeur d’histoire du Moyen Âge à l’Université d’Angers et l’un des principaux artisans du renouveau des études angevines en France depuis les années 2000. 

On trouvera sur le site des Fasti Ecclesiae Gallicanae, équipe qu’il présida de 2012 à 2017, une évocation de sa carrière et la présentation de toute son œuvre scientifique.

Il 7 marzo 2020 scompariva Jean-Michel Matz, professore di storia medievale all’Università di Angers, fra i principali artefici della rinascita degli studi angioini in Francia dagli anni 2000. 2020. március 7-én távozott el Jean-Michel Matz, az Angersi Egyetem középkori történet professzora, aki a 2000-es évek óta a franciaországi Anjou kutatások megújulásának egy legfontosabb alkotó képviselője volt. Am 7. März 2020 ist Jean-Michel Matz verstorben. Er war Professor für die Geschichte des Mittelalters an der Université d’Angers und gab der Erneuerung der angevinischen Studien in Frankreich seit 2000 entscheidende Impulse. Auf der Webseite der Fasti Ecclesiae Gallicanae, als deren Präsident er von 2012 bis 2017 wirkte, befindet sich ein Abriss seines Werdegangs und eine Präsentation seines wissenschaftlichen Gesamtwerks.
